What You Need To Know About Oak Meadow, Oak Ridge High School’s Science Curriculum
Oak Ridge, Tennessee — Oak Ridge Elementary School is hosting a science-themed science and technology curriculum for its high school students.
The school is also hosting a “science fair” in November to teach science-related skills, including a “biodiversity awareness course” and a “history of science” course.
The science curriculum is being offered to students from kindergarten through high school.
The curriculum has been created by the school’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Department and incorporates the science topics of the science fair, according to the school.
The curriculum will be used in classes in the spring and summer, according the school district.
The “science curriculum” will also be taught by the teacher.
According to Oak Ridge Schools website, the curriculum “is designed to introduce students to the scientific principles, techniques, and applications of technology, science, engineering, and mathematics, and the science that drives them and their communities.
Students will learn how to solve problems, think critically, and communicate ideas through technology.
The program will teach students how to work with science in an educational setting, using science, technology, engineering and mathematics as a tool for communication, collaboration, and learning.”
The science fair will be held on November 4, and will include a free outdoor workshop for students to take a hands-on approach to technology-based projects, according a news release.
The event will be sponsored by Oak Ridge Public Schools.
The science curriculum, which is designed to include topics such as technology, environmental protection, climate change, energy, water, air quality, water quality, and climate change awareness, is part of Oak Ridge’s “Science, Technology and Technology Education” curriculum, according Toews School District.
According the Oak Ridge School District website, Oak Hill High School has a science fair scheduled for November 3.
